First of all, get to know the block size!

Look for the network IP

Look for first IP

Look for last IP

Look for the broadcast IP

Number of network/subnet = 2^N

Number of total host = 2^H

Number of total valid host = (2^H) - 2

Note:

N: network bit used

H: host bit used
